Partnering with the amazing Blackcomb Helicopters, we’ll visit one of the epic landing locations near Whistler, such as Rainbow Mountain, Beverly Lake, or Ipsoot Glacier. 

Pitt Meadows Heli Elopements

For your heli elopement in the Pitt Meadows area, a flight with Sky Helicopters will take us to a stunning and private location — you’ll love eloping here, immersed in nature and surrounded by jagged mountains and clear blue water. 

As an alternative to the above, I also recommend Valhalla Helicopters based in Kelowna — a highly experienced operator that offers a premium day out. 

Each full-day heli elopement package is packed with everything you need, including up to eight hours of coverage, 1.5-2 hours of helicopter experience, planning assistance and my expert resources, and a complimentary engagement session beforehand, helping you feel comfortable in front of the camera!

After your elopement, you’ll receive high-resolution and social media ready images, all accessible via a USB and passport-protected online gallery. 

A Backup Plan Can Be A Good Thing! 

I absolutely love shooting BC heli elopements, but I know our weather can be a little unpredictable! Just in case we encounter rain, fog, or smoke, you have two options: you can reschedule (the helicopter companies are so professional and make it easy for you) or choose a backup option like the ones below! 

A few fun ideas for backup plans include:

• A jeep tour from Canadian Wilderness Adventures at sunset, heading up into Blackcomb Mountain or Horstman Glacier for epic views. 
• Sea to Sky Gondola or Whistler Gondola are such fun options for elopement photography too!
• Or, plan on an easily accessible location where we can take some gorgeous photos, such as Pitt Meadows Scenic Point or boat launch, Green Lake, or Shannon Falls. I’m also happy to give you some more suggestions!

How To Make The Most Of Your Whistler Or Kelowna Helicopter Elopement

To make the most of your heli elopement, think about planning for full-day elopement coverage. A few hours is just too short and you don’t want to feel rushed! With a full-day heli elopement, you can document your entire day, with lots of photography coverage and ample time to celebrate. 

I can also assist with planning your heli elopement timeline so we can maximize the day, with enough time for driving, signing waivers, safety briefings, etc. A wedding timeline is essential for planning your day, allocating enough time for everything you want to enjoy!

Your adventure elopement timeline could look something like this:

• 7 am: Relax and get ready together, and afterwards we’ll head off for a first look at a scenic point.
• 8 am: Meet at your helicopter departure point, butterflies in your stomach and wedding rings in hand. 
• 9 am: After some paperwork, you set off on your heli adventure, just in time for a mid-morning elopement at a mountaintop! After your ceremony (back on land!), we’ll go for a drive and take some more newly-hitched couples portraits and/or family and friend portraits at some of my fav secret locations as you bask in the glow of being newlywed!
• 12 pm: Have an intimate lunch, picnic, or celebration, toasting your love.
• 3 pm: Savor the time together with a fun activity such as a breathtaking hike, a relaxing boat ride together, or paddle boarding to explore the stunning surroundings.
• 6 pm: Grab those epic sunset portraits, taking in your first sunset as a married couple! Meet up with everyone for dinner together and dance the night away or retreat into your private B&B.
